I'm Moving !!

I'm feeling nervous! Today we went and put money down on a house that we are going to rent for 6 months with an option to buy. We already have both contracts and everything is so weird. I get nervous about change because the house we're in now we've actually been here for 5 years. The house we're looking at is a fixer upper but I wanted it that way so I can have everything the way I want it. I feel a little anxious and I don't think it's hit me yet but we start moving next weekend. I hope I'm ready for this change because I will use this as a new/fresh start for my life. Financially and emotionally :) I'll be updating you on progress and although I will not be posting any pictures until everything is done that way I can post before and after pics so that will be a good while lol. Wish me luck and pray for me lol.

Aveeno Tinted Moisturizer

Yesterday I got the Aveeno tinted moisturizer and I am so excited to use it!! I have been trying to decide if I really wanted to try it or not. I did a little test and it looks like a beautiful pearled lotion. It's thick like its really expensive oh and it smells good. The only thing I find is it's medium shade is kinda light and I didnt see a dark shade so I'm not sure. It blends in pretty good but maybe it just looks lighter beause of the slight shimmer. I will definitley let you know what I think about it :)

Eat Right For Your Blood Type

Have you ever heard of eat right for your blood type diet? What is that? Does it work?
I was reading the website because you can actually search this and read it. It said I shouldn't eat cabbage, really all starches and I was sad! All of my favorite foods are starches (spaghetti, fettuccine, rice, and bread) I'm doomed! I'm suppose to eat red meat yuck! I really only eat chicken which probably isn't any better because of all the steroids they fill animals up with. Has anyone tried this? Does it work better then a random diet because its specified for your blood type and body? I'm so curious.

For Type Bs the biggest factors in weight gain are corn, wheat, buckwheat, lentils, tomatoes, peanuts and sesame seeds. Happy Birthday Ariana !!

October 25, 2002 was my Daughters 8th birthday! Time has past by so fast and she is a beautiful young girl. She has her own style, personality and can pretty much make all the small decisions on her own without me.  :( I love you princess and I hope time will slow down enough for me to feel like you've been my baby forever lol. She is a skeleton sweetie the costume came from Spirit Halloween store and I put the purple hair with her hair to match her costume.

Baby Shower News

So tomorrow is my very good friend Ashawntay's baby shower and I'm super excited!! I can't wait :) She was all upset because things weren't going perfectly. So I did what any good friend would do I called her mother and told her that Ashawntay wouldn't listen to me lol. Sorry girl had to get you to listen and calm down some kind of way. My daughter Ariana has beautiful hair! She is so lucky to have hair that is curly and just as beautiful straight. She has been asking me to straighten it for her so here are the before and after pics. All I used is got2b satin drops, chi iron guard spray and a Chi Iron :)

Do You Know Your Blood Type?

I didn't know my blood type until recently and I was so anxious to find out lol. I have a very good friend of mine and her mother has been needing a kidney for over 5 years! I hear her talk about her mom like she is the brightest star in the sky she's ever seen. She said her mother has never complained once about the disabilities of needing a kidney has given her and I think that's awesome! Today I found out that I am o-positive blood type and that means I may be a match for her. I am so excited to get tested to see if I can give her the gift of a healthy life. She has a great family. So Mrs Lee I hope this is something that is going to be positive for the both of us. I will post as soon as I get a date to be tested to update you guys so cross your fingers!

Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls are so yummy!! I woke up today and decided that's what I wanted for breakfast. Lol I know weird huh? I really wanted something warm, soft and sweet. On top of tasting delish it made the whole house smell awesome! Lionel was cleaning his car out and came in and was like man that smells good what is that? Of course he came straight to the kitchen and ate one and of course I ate two. One for breakfast and one for the labor of making them lol. What's your favorite sweet breakfast quickies?

Equate Exfoliating Cleansing Towelettes

These are awesome!!! lol I get my daughter to wash her face 2 times a day and these cloths are perfect for and me as well. They are exfoliating cloths without the roughness and they smell so good! They're so quick and convient, I would suggest them to anyone who has a child getting use to hygene (washing face, body sprays and deoderant) and definitley use them your self. Throw them in your gym bag, purse or even your bookbag and feel fresh and clean all day long lol. Have you ever had that exfoliater that was so ruff your skin felt torn? Well this is nothing like that, so enjoy!

OMG! I cant believe Ive never talked about Diego! This  is my daughters cat and he is a male but he thinks hes a princess lol. Doesn't he look pretty? He turned 1year July 4, 2010 and he is so big. Sock Monkey




Have you guys ever heard of Sock Monkeys? Well I haven't until recently when I was in a Halloween store called Spirit. I saw my first one and I fell in love. Weird! I know but I had to have one lol. Supposedly there was a show or movie about them and it was a big hit. I have no idea what it was called but, Do you guys know what they're talking about? Have you ever seen the show? I just love the monkeys they're so cute and kinda remind me of a rag doll. I got 2 one to imitate me and the brown one to imitate my babe. lol Can you tell they love each other? :)

Last Night - Sweet October 12th

 

I just wanted to share this. Last night my Babe called on his way home from practice and asked me if I needed anything I said no thanks and kept reading my book. I looked up and it was like 30 minutes later I felt a little worried because it only takes a few minutes to get home, right when I picked up my phone to call him he called and said he was pulling up. When he got home he gave me a kiss and said I got you something it was this card. So sweet and random! I Love Him!! lol.

Dark Hair vs. Light Hair?

I love my natural hair (dark brown) but sometimes I want to change it up and go lighter. Everyone tells me the darker hair looks better with my skin. I look at different pictures and yes the darker hair does look better when my skin is darker but with pale skin I don't know. Help me out.... Should I go back darker or stay light?

The Talk!

Menstrual Cycles....  When is the right time or age to talk to our daughters? My daughter will be 8years old on October 25th and I have already talked to her and the reason I did is because it seems that young girls are starting earlier and earlier these days. I talked with a retired gynecologist about what  exactly happens and I basically told my daughter what the doctor told me. You never want your kids to get the wrong information from everybody else so I believe it never hurts to be a little early that way they hear the right information. What do you guys think? I think she is ready because she already ask me questions about things and honestly I'm very pleased she feels comfortable asking me these questions because I never felt like I could go to my mother. I remember being scared that I would get in trouble lol. I'll definitely be asking more questions and doing research for the future in case she has other questions. :)

Growing My Eyebrows Back

I have decided to grow out my eyebrows..... Its soooo freaking hard! I just want to cut/shave them off! lol Seriously it really is hard because the hair is all crazy and ugly! Especially for me because I was shaving mine ALL the way off. I have my eyebrows tattooed on. I love it because I will never loose my shape, and if I want to reshape them I just shade in a little with a eyebrow pencil, no big deal. I decided to grow my eyebrows back because of my daughter. Her eyebrows are gorgeous and that's exactly how my eyebrows looked before I started harassing them lol. I just started out like every other female the evil tweezing disease. I kept going and going until I hardly had anything left until finally I would just shave them and draw them on. Well one very hot summer about 3years ago I wanted to get them tattooed on because I got tired of getting hot, wiping my face and having 1 freaking eyebrow. That crap was embarrassing! So I finally got them done by my Baby of course and I am very happy with them. Now I just want them a little different (with hair) lol that's it just hair over it. Is that weird? I want the arch a tiny bit higher, which is growing pretty nicely and a lot faster then I expected Thank You Jesus!!! I'm posting pictures of when I first started growing my eyebrows out and as of today. It took exactly 1 month and 5 days. YAY! What do you guys think of cosmetic makeup tattoos?

Pay Day & Paying Bills

Today is Thursday (Pay Day)! Have you ever been sitting in the floor with all of your bills around you and by the time you write all of your checks out your like dang I'm broke! Well I do that but I fail to realize Dang all of my bills are paid! Thank You Lord! It's hard being a grown-up we're in such a rush to grow-up but fail to rtealize the responsibilities that come with it. We don't see the struggles our parents go through to make ends meet but as we get older we start to understand. That's when the parents say I told you it wasnt easy! lol I have found that working hard makes you appreciate the easy things more, Well it I do anyway :)

Bailey is Getting So Big !

Bailey is getting so big OMG! He is going to be 8 months old this month and I feel like I just got him a month ago lol. I'm still having trouble with him potty training because he still has accidents. I constantly take him out but sometimes he wont do both. Do pets poo and pee when they go every time? I know that's too much info. but I need to know these things lol. Yesterday I took him out and he pee but didn't poo but less then an hour later he poo in the hall (GROSS!) What do I do??? What can I do to help him train a little faster with no accidents? Any advise is appreciated :)

October Hair Product Favorites!

Right now I'm loving Treseme' Mouse, Regis hair silk drops serum and the Dove flexible hold hairspray. In Georgia we have unbelievable humidity here and these products so far have been the best on my hair. I know before I was all excited about the got2b products but that was until it rained one day and I was horrified. It rained 4 days in a row and I was disappointed so back to my old favorites I'm running lol. I couldn't believe the difference the moisture and humidity block that the Treseme' mouse gave my hair :) I have naturally curly hair so that's something I definitely need. Let me know what you guys think of my hair because this is a picture of my hair with each product. Can you tell a difference? Oh yeah and the got2b products started drying out my hair so Ive been using the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner (Has helped so much!)

*Choice of Music*

Do you think after you have a child your preference in music changes??? I do because I use to listen to the rap with all words you can't say in front of you grandma lol but now I don't even like to listen to anything talking about sex period while shes in the car. I don't want to seem like a hypocrite but kids really do look up to parents and we have to be an example. Have you guys ever seen the commercial where the little girls are imitating a singer and shes laying on the couch dancing. She was probably 10years old if that. Music has a big influence in children's lives. I even feel a little awkward when I go out with friends maybe to a club because I'll hear the music and I don't like the real version, I'd rather hear the radio version lol. Tell me what you guys think.

What made me think to blog about this is one day I was pumping gas with Ariana in the car and this man was at the pump on the other side and his music was so loud and the lyrics were so horrible that I literally wanted to turn my B**ch switch on and tell him if I wanted my daughter to hear that I would be playing it in my car! Do people not have the respect to turn down their music when they re are around others that may not prefer to hear those lyrics!
