One of Many Best Days

Let me start off by saying today was a great day! I had the best time ever. First thing this morning I ate breakfast with my at work family then I cleaned my house. I got ready and went to lunch at Olive Garden with one of my besties and as soon as we got done we had to go pick the girls up from school. Kinda felt like Sex and the City lol. Girls lunch catching up and getting new advice lol. I love it! So after that I went to the mall to return the Kat Von D Concealer and did a little shopping. My cousin called and ended up meeting My Daughter and I up there and we bought so much stuff for great deals. That was basically my best day lol. Not much but I loved having the company of my friends and family.  Oh yeah I'll do a haul :)

Miss Aniya is Here!

I did a blog a while back about my very good friend Ashawntay being prego. Well the little princess is here finally lol. She arrived on November 19,2010 @ 2:45am. She is beautiful and a head full of beautiful curls. I just want to say Congratulations and Aniya so glad you made it into the world Princess! Love you guys very much and I'll be up there soon!

Yummy Candles!

I love candles, but these candles are so yummy smelling and look edible! I just look at them, people have such a great talent for art. These candles look like little chocolates and if your just sitting on the couch you 'll get a whiff and be like who's baking brownies lol. Yes I am greedy and I L-O-V-E to eat. lol I ordered these candles from ABC Distributing and they were only $5.95. It's a 9 piece Chocolate Candle Box Set. Wish you could smell these!

Outfit of The Day! 12/4/10

Tonight I went to dinner at Teresa (Mexican) and to the movies with my Sugga. OMG we went to see Takers and that was a really good movie! It's crazy because its like real life people will smile in your face and set you up to take everything from you even if they did use to be friends. I've never had anyone set me up but I have had so many people take from me. I have a kind heart and I try to help if I can because I hate to see someone go without. I have finally figured out with growing age that some people will ask just because they aren't willing to work for what they want like I am. I guess it takes trials and tribulations to learn your way through life right? I'm definitely getting older and hopefully wiser. Wow I went from outfit of the day to a life lesson lol. OK back on track so I wanted to be warm because the wind was blowing crazy and it was late when we got done with the movie. Plus after the movie we went to Walmart for a little Christmas shopping.  Hope you enjoy oh yeah my Bailey wouldn't stay out of the picture lol.

Simple Brown Eyes Look!

I think brown eyes are beautiful! There are so many different shades of brown it's just ridiculous. This is a very simple and nice brown eye makeup look I did the today and wanted to show you guys :) Hope you like! All the colors are from the Coastal Scents Metal Mania 88 Palette.

Drinking Water

Do you drink enough water? I don't and I hate that I don't. I use to hate water but its stupid because water is something you need for your body to be healthy. I've been doing better though, I'm not drinking as much as I should but I'm definitely doing better.  Today as I type this post I'm on bottle #2 yay! Did you know that the recommended amount of water is half of your body weight? I didn't know that until recently, I was on the Internet and I found it somewhere. But yeah you're suppose to take your weight and divide it in half and that's your recommended amount of water per day. I am about 133 so I just do this (133/2= 66.5oz.) So I divide that by how many ounces my drinking bottle is and there you go. So (66.5/17oz= 4 bottles/day.) The only thing I hate about drinking so much water is using the bathroom so much . Man that's annoying especially if your on a road trip. On the other hand I'm thankful because if you aren't able to pee its called a urinary tract infection. I've heard you could end up in the hospital and have to have a catheter and I just don't want that. So go for the best option drink water. lol I really don't know why I posted about this except the fact that a friend and I were were talking about drinking water and when I told her  she should be drinking half her body weight had never heard of it, so I wanted to share with you guys so you will know :)

Update Coastal Scents

A couple of days ago I posted about my package from Coastal Scents . Well the rest of my package arrived today and I'm happy now :) I received both palettes and now my order is complete. Although I think I'm going to give the 88 Shimmer Palette to my daughter for Christmas. I know shes only 8 years old but she really loves to play in makeup and play dress up. Plus by the time she is 16 years she'll be an expert lol. She loves little things like that too so it'll be well worth it.  Well I just wanted to  update you that I got my package. Nothing broken and wrapped in a lot of bubble wrap lol. I'm loving the colors and I can't wait to do a look with them.

Women Intuition

My thoughts on women intuition : I think ever women should always go with her gut feeling because that is whats going to save you most of the time. I honestly love the weird feeling i get because I'll tell you it has kept me out of a lot of trouble and away from a lot of bad people. The reason why I'm on this subject is because yesterday I just felt weird. I'm still trying to feel out the situation and I haven't said anything but it's just that feeling wasn't good. I know everyone says if you feel it that it must be true but do you believe that? Let me know. Tell me about a time you had that intuition feeling and was it right...

Kat Von D Concealer Review

What I think about the concealer...

Pros -
Great coverage
Eye brightening
Creamy
Doesn't smell
Not too thick if you put it on correctly

Cons -
I look dry under my eyes when I use it
It shows lines

I have problems with under my eyes for some reason I'm really dry and I use moisturizer before makeup and everything. I don't know what else to do. I think I'm going to take it back and try the Laura Mercier camo concealer. I saw someone use it in one of her tutorials and it looked very nice. I feel like Ive tried everything for under my eyes I just hate the dry look you know. Maybe I'll try it one more time and make sure but I'm almost positive I'm going to return it :(

How To Wear Your Tights

I love tights more then the next person but you do not wear tights with a shirt tucked in. I was at My Babes tattoo shop this past weekend and a lady had on some tights #1. they were black (I had no problem with that), #2. She had hugh white panties on that you could see. Obviously because I told you what color they were, the worst part, #3. She had her white t-shirt tucked in her tights! What the hell??, #4 She had on Jordan's and finally #5 she had on a brown Indian vest that didn't match. You know the kind of vest I'm talking about. I'm not a designer by any means but I know you don't wear stuff like that. I wish I would've taken a picture but I just coudn't do it.

When you wear tights they're not meant to be just pants, they go under skirts, long shirts or dresses. I'm sorry but if your wearing tights there is no reason I should see your panties or your wedgie. Yuck! Please stand in front of a window and see if you can see through your clothes because everyone doesn't like to see what you have. Sorry but I had to share this. lol Peace!

My November 10' Haul

I know I'm a little late but hey better late then never. Well, I have been all over the city and I love to bargain shop so I look every where before I buy anything. I have to make sure I can't get the same thing cheaper some where else :)  I have been buying random things and have decided I will just do a monthly haul at the end of each month because I just have been so busy with moving and everything. And I'm sorry there are so many pictures but when I try to put them in 2 rows it messes up.

I Died My Hair!

So I decided to go back natural and dye my hair back dark brown. I feel like it fits me better and plus I hate having to keep up my roots. I feel like it'll help me get my hair back into healthy shape ;) I love for my hair to be shiny. I used a hair dye I've never used before, "Herbal Essence" and it is AWESOME!! I love it! The color I choose was called Chocolate Velvet, sounds kinda sexy huh? lol But anyway so I died my hair and I didn't even hardly touch my roots. It came out perfect. I couldn't believe it. I bought this brand from Walmart and it was like $5.00 and something.  I would definitely recommend this hair dye but just be careful getting it on your skin because you will have spots lol. Anyways just wanted to update.

Coastal Scents - Kinda Disppointed :(

Today I received my Coastal Scents order that I placed Saturday night and I was like what in the world!? I ordered the combo set #5 which comes with 4 eyeshadow palettes. Well when I opened the box I only had 2 out of the 4 palettes. I was so disappointed! I called and let customer service know and she didnt give me any problems and told me she would send the 2 missing palettes out. When I asked how long it would take for them to get to me she responded 3-5 business days. I guess I thought because it was their mistake they would be kind of like let me get them to you right away but NO, regular shipping. I was disappointed again and was like really? I really like my palettes that I did receive but it just took the fun out of it knowing I didnt get everything I ordered. Until I get the other two palettes I guess I will be ok lol.
